CTS-V2 custom steering wheel install in 2009 XLR-V

Just purchased a "D" style carbon fiber steering wheel made from a ctsv2 core. I'm planning on overhauling the interior of my xlrv as it is turning 80k, one of the upgrades I would like is installing this steering wheel. Now, I know fitment-wise it's an easy bolt-on, no problemo. However, I know that the wiring is going to be different for the left hand controls on the wheel and I would also like to enable the trigger shift buttons on the back side.
